The honest answer is: less than most clients expect, and nothing like a regular tattoo. The face is a sensitive area, but the technique is gentle, the pace is slow, and numbing is used continuously throughout your session.
Most clients describe the sensation as a soft scratching or mild pressure. Many spend the appointment in quiet conversation or simply resting. You remain in control from beginning to end - if at any point you need to pause, we pause.
- Topical numbing, throughout. A primary numbing cream is applied before the procedure, with a secondary numbing agent re-applied throughout. Sensation is carefully managed at every stage.
- Unhurried pacing. No appointment is rushed. Breaks are offered generously. Your comfort dictates the rhythm of the session - never the schedule.

At your appointment, your design is mapped directly onto your skin. Shape, symmetry, and pigment are reviewed and refined together until the look is one you recognize as entirely your own.
The Procedure
The work itself is quiet and methodical. Numbing is managed throughout, breaks are offered, and progress is checked with you at each stage. Most sessions last two to three hours.
Healing & Perfecting
You leave with clear aftercare and direct access to the studio for any questions during the healing window. Six to eight weeks later, a complimentary perfecting session refines the work as the pigment settles into its final tone.
